4.2 Priest Archetypes (Level 55)
These skills are common to Clerics, Druids and Shaman. These become
available after level 55 and six points have been spent on the General skills.
Priest
Channeling Focus Improved Channeling Ability
Combat Stability Improve Damage Absorption
Healing Adept Improves Instant Heal Spells
Healing Gift Chance to Critical Heal
Improved Natural Durability Increase Hitpoints of Player
Mental Clarity Improved Mana Regeneration
Spell Casting Fury Chance to Cast Critical Strike Spells
Spell Casting Mastery Increases Chance of Specialization Activation
Spell Casting Reinforcement Increases Duration of Buff Spells
Channeling Focus – This is not one of the primary abilities a cleric needs. It is
best to wait until other skills are maxed.
Combat Stability – This is more useful to the Cleric who desires a soloing
career.
Healing Adept – It is suggested that this ability be raised immediately as it adds
to the effectiveness of a Cleric’s Healing spells.
Healing Gift – This ability is very useful when using the Assisting Healing
method as described earlier. Initial points should not be put here, however points
should be added soon after Healing Adept and Mental Clarity.
Improved Natural Durability – More Hit Points is always desired, however other
abilities should prove to be more useful.
Mental Clarity – Mana regeneration yields more heals. This ability should be
raised as soon as possible.
Spell Casting Fury – Clerics are normally too busy healing to nuke. It is a skill
that is nice to have but other abilities should not be sacrificed for it.
Spell Casting Mastery – This is another important ability due to the fact it can
decrease mana when a Cleric casts their spells.
Spell Casting Reinforcement – This ability is very useful when it comes to
buffing players. Longer lasting buffs means less mana, however it is not as
needed when in large raids as there are always other Clerics available to help
with the buffing process.
